I’m Back!

Hi all!

I’m back from Iceland. I got in late Monday night. My bag full of yarn and dirty laundry (don’t worry, they each had their own plastic bag!) did not. But it’s been found, at least!

I’m trying to adjust back to real life. It’s been a bit challenging. Getting back to the daily grind after an awesome week is not easy.

It’s very hard for me to condense the whole week into one blog post, so I won’t. I will tell the stories as I remember them.

I met so many amazing people. I’m really blown away. And they’re all different walks of life, different professions, etc. There’s definitely something about the knitting community. I keep meeting knitters that are awesome people. They’re nice, warm, open, generous, friendly, funny… and what blows me away is that if we did not have this craft in common, we never would have met one another.

I feel like I’ve made at least 20 new friends. And I miss them immensely right now.

I really should leave you with a picture of some sort, but I don’t really have anything that fits this post right now. But Franklin did teach us how to use our cameras, so I’ll be posting better pictures to this blog in the future!!

  1. Welcome back! Good idea about not doing a single mega-post. As a blogger, I find that I always skip over lots of details when I do that just for the sake of getting it all in one post. And as a reader of a blog, I want all those details! 🙂

Glad to hear you met so many cool people, and that your luggage made its way back to you safely.

It’s a knitters paradise! I swear! I spent about $80 and got a little more than 2.5 sweater’s worth of yarn. It’s beautiful, I had tons of fun, and I miss all my friends!
