September 20 Knitting

One of the rules for Sockdown is that you get 2 months to finish the pair of socks.

I think that’s great. There are folks participating with various skill levels, and other folks that have 2 jobs and kids and what-not.

Plus, things come up. I remember when I participated in NaKniSweMo (National Knit a Sweater in a Month), I was in the home stretch, and then I landed in the hospital for a suspected stroke (turned out to be a migraine, but it took 3 days out of my life!), and did not finish the sweater by the end of the month.

Nevertheless, I’m going to attempt to finish these socks by the end of the month. I’ve done the cuff. I’m about halfway through the first of 3 pattern repeats.

I’ve got 10 days (well, it’s early today, so I’m counting it). I have a wedding on Friday, but I have YarnCon on Saturday, and I’ll be there all day, and surely I’ll get SOME knitting time in there, right?

I think I can do this.

Second sock

I'm gonna finish you by September 30, sockie!
