So, I was reading The Yarn Harlot at lunch today, where she posted about the most clever way to end a toe-up sock.
I love toe-up socks. Once I figured out how to do it, I haven’t gone back.
Plus, I figured out Magic Loop at the same time, so it’s a perfect storm!
I like being able to end the sock when I want to end the sock. And having the option to make it longer if I please.
But the bind-off was always kind of “meh.”
You have to make sure it’s loose enough, otherwise you can’t pull it up as high as you want.
I had been binding off with the needle and a crochet hook several sizes bigger, and that was working alright.
The Yarn Harlot had something new!
Once I figure it out (which means I have to do it myself), I think this may be “the one!”
